We are currently supporting an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join a well-established SEMH setting in North London from September. This is a full-time position where you will be working with students who require tailored, engaging, and highly structured learning experiences to support both their academic progress and personal development.
The Role
You will be responsible for planning and delivering creative, practical Food Technology lessons that are accessible, engaging, and carefully differentiated to meet a wide range of learning and emotional needs. You will bring structure, consistency, and enthusiasm into the classroom while supporting students to build confidence, independence, and practical skills.
What We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong experience planning and delivering Food Technology lessons
Previous experience working within SEMH or SEND settings
A calm, adaptable, and resilient teaching approach
Ability to build positive and consistent relationships with students who may present challenging behaviour
A genuine commitment to inclusive education and student development
The Ideal Candidate
You will be someone who thrives in a specialist environment, understands the importance of routine and consistency, and can deliver engaging practical lessons that motivate learners who may have experienced barriers in mainstream education.
