Your responsibilities as Mechanical Maintenance Technician
Provide front-line maintenance support across production departments
Carry out planned preventative maintenance activities across the site
Maintain site services including compressed air, boiler, cooling and refrigeration systems
Diagnose and repair mechanical and basic electrical faults on production equipment
Support improvement projects focused on reducing downtime and increasing efficiency
Complete a structured familiarisation and training programme during onboarding
What we’re looking for in a Mechanical Maintenance Technician
Previous experience within a similar maintenance environment
HNC qualification or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline
Completion of a recognised engineering apprenticeship
Strong mechanical maintenance knowledge and fault-finding capability
Right to work in the UK and ability to commute to Kirkcaldy
Working Hours
38 hours per week, working a rotating three-shift pattern Monday to Friday.
