We’re currently recruiting for an experienced PSV Technician to join a busy and well-established fleet operation in the Sheffield area.
This is a hands-on role working within a fast-paced workshop, responsible for maintaining and repairing a modern fleet of buses and coaches to the highest safety and compliance standards.
You’ll play a key role in keeping vehicles roadworthy, minimising downtime, and ensuring services run efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair on PSV vehicles
* Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults
* Conduct inspections, safety checks, and MOT preparation
* Complete defect repairs efficiently to minimise downtime
* Ensure all work is completed in line with DVSA standards
* Work collaboratively within a skilled engineering team
What We’re Looking For
* Experience working on PSV / HGV / commercial vehicles
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
* Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
* Ability to work independently and within a team
* Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent preferred)
* A proactive approach with a focus on first-time fixes
