Job Title: Workshop Manager – HGV
Location: Oldbury
Salary: £50,000- £55,000

Role Purpose

To manage the day-to-day operation of the HGV workshop, ensuring vehicles are maintained safely, legally, and efficiently to maximise fleet availability and minimise downtime.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage all workshop activities, including servicing, maintenance, inspections, and repairs.

* Lead, motivate, and develop a team of HGV technicians and apprentices.

* Ensure compliance with DVSA regulations, Operator Licence requirements, and health and safety standards.

* Plan maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs to maximise vehicle availability.

* Maintain accurate records and support audits and inspections.

* Work closely with transport and operations teams to meet business requirements.

Essential Requirements

* Strong knowledge of HGV maintenance and fleet compliance requirements.

* Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.

* Full UK driving licence
