Our client, a well-established and growing fire safety consultancy, is currently seeking an experienced Fire Risk Assessor to join their team in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for a competent fire safety professional to work with a diverse portfolio of clients across commercial, residential, healthcare, education, and public sector environments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out fire risk assessments, providing expert fire safety advice, and supporting clients in achieving compliance with current fire safety legislation.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct fire risk assessments across a range of property types.
Identify fire hazards and assess existing control measures.
Prepare detailed, high-quality fire risk assessment reports.
Provide practical and proportionate recommendations to clients.
Support clients with fire safety compliance and best practice guidance.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fire safety legislation and industry standards.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional service delivery.

Candidate Requirements

Essential

Proven experience conducting fire risk assessments.
Strong understanding of UK fire safety legislation and guidance.
Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
Full UK driving licence.

Desirable

Relevant fire safety qualifications.
Membership of a recognised professional body such as IFE, IFSM, or IOSH.
Experience within residential, commercial, healthcare, or educational sectors.
Level 3 or Level 4 qualification in Fire Safety or equivalent.
