Initially for the Autumn Term - Potential to continue beyond that
Zest Education is delighted to be supporting a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Bow, E3, in the recruitment of a dedicated and experienced SENCO to join their team from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified SENCO to play a key role in supporting pupils with additional needs and leading SEND provision across the school. The position is initially for the Autumn Term 2026 on a part-time basis (3–4 days per week), with the possibility of continuing beyond the initial contract for the right candidate.
What the role involves:
* Leading and coordinating SEND provision across the school
* Identifying, assessing and monitoring pupils with additional needs
* Managing and reviewing EHCPs, SEND support plans and annual reviews
* Working closely with teachers, support staff, parents and external professionals
* Advising staff on effective interventions and inclusive teaching strategies
* Supporting the development of whole-school SEND practice
* Ensuring compliance with the SEND Code of Practice and statutory requirements
* Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils
