Job Title: Electronics Engineer
Duration: 6–12 Months
Location: Reading (Onsite)
Rate: £45–£50 per hour (Outside IR35)
Must have Eligibility for SC Clearance
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Electronics Engineer on a contract basis to support the design and development of advanced electronic products and systems for high-reliability applications.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop electronic hardware from concept through to manufacture and test.
• Create schematics, support PCB design activities and work closely with production teams to ensure successful product delivery.
• Support product qualification, verification and validation activities, including liaison with external test houses where required.
• Produce technical documentation including test procedures, reports, calculations and engineering specifications.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues, supporting continuous product improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing and assist with product selection and customer requirements where necessary.
Requirements
• Strong background in electronics design, development and fault finding.
• Experience using PCB design tools such as Altium or equivalent.
• Experience taking products through cradle to grave
• Eligible to undergo BPSS security screening.
