Purpose of the Role

To accurately cut and prepare fabrics and materials in accordance with manufacturing requirements, ensuring quality, traceability, and on-time delivery of aerospace products.

Key Responsibilities

Cut fabrics and materials to specified dimensions, patterns, and work instructions.
Prepare and kit materials for production while maintaining full traceability.
Inspect materials for defects and ensure all work meets quality standards.
Minimise material waste through efficient cutting and handling practices.
Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate records.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
Work effectively as part of the production team to meet delivery targets.
Adhere to all Health & Safety, Quality, and company procedures.
Skills & Experience

Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to follow work instructions and drawings.
Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to work.
Previous manufacturing or cutting experience desirable but not essential.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
