Role Overview
We are recruiting Pediatric, Mental Health, and General Nurses for opportunities across Devon. You will deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care, support clinical governance, and contribute to safe, effective practice within multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
*
Provide holistic nursing care to service users, ensuring dignity, privacy, and respect
*
Deliver accurate observations, risk assessments, and care plans aligned with clinical needs
*
Administer medication safely and in accordance with NMC standards and local policies
*
Maintain clear, timely clinical documentation (including assessments, incident reporting, and nursing notes)
*
Support safeguarding and escalation procedures in line with organisational policy
*
Work collaboratively with doctors, allied health professionals, carers, and families
*
Promote infection prevention and control, plus safe handling of equipment
*
Contribute to audit, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice
*
Maintain professional conduct in line with the NMC Code
Required Experience & Qualifications
*
NMC registration as an adult nurse / registered nurse (as applicable to your registration)
*
At least 12 months of UK care experience
*
Experience relevant to one (or more) of the following pathways:
*
Pediatric nursing
*
Mental health nursing
*
General nursing
*
Strong knowledge of UK healthcare standards, clinical procedures, and documentation requirements
*
Ability to work shifts, including weekends and evenings (where required)
Desirable Skills
*
Experience within community, hospital, or care settings (ward, clinic, or service-based roles)
*
Familiarity with safeguarding processes and mental health risk frameworks
*
Confident communication with service users, families, and multidisciplinary teams
*
Evidence of delivering compassionate care under pressure
