About the role:The school is seeking a skilled Additional Support for Learning (ASL) Team Leader to manage the delivery of specialist interventions. You will guide a team of support assistants, coordinate individualised learning profiles, and ensure compliance with statutory educational guidelines. Acting as a vital link between classroom teachers, external support services, and senior management, you will actively shape inclusive practices across the campus.

Were looking for a dedicated candidate to:
Manage and allocate workloads for additional support staff and specialist assistants
Develop, monitor, and update individualised learning plans for students with diverse needs
Collaborate with teachers and external professionals to design effective classroom interventions
Maintain accurate records and ensure full compliance with safeguarding and education policies
Provide guidance and professional development to staff on inclusive teaching practices

Requirements -The ideal candidate would have:
Proven experience working with children who have complex additional support or learning needs
Strong leadership qualities with experience managing or supervising a team in an educational setting
Deep knowledge of relevant national educational policies and inclusive frameworks
Excellent communication and organisational skills to work with families and external agencies
A valid Enhanced DBS check or a willingness to undergo the registration process
