Quantity Surveyor - Infrastructure
London | Construction Consultancy
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading construction consultancy in London, working on some of the UK's most significant infrastructure programmes.
This role offers the chance to be involved in major projects across sectors such as rail, aviation, highways, utilities, and other complex infrastructure schemes. You'll join a collaborative and growing team, delivering commercial and cost management services to high-profile clients from project inception through to completion.
The Role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial management of large-scale infrastructure projects, providing cost advice and contract administration support throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing cost estimates, cost plans, and financial reports
Managing project budgets and monitoring expenditure
Administering contracts and managing change control processes
Assessing and valuing variations, compensation events, and contractor applications
Supporting procurement and tendering activities
Producing valuations and final accounts
Building strong relationships with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders
Supporting the successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects
About You
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
Experience working on infrastructure projects such as rail, aviation, highways, utilities, or major civil engineering schemes
Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts is essential
Experience administering NEC contracts and managing commercial processes within an infrastructure environment
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Proactive, commercially aware, and motivated to progress your career within consultancy
