Teaching Assistants - SEND Schools - Richmond/Twickenham

Empowering Learning are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join teams at SEND schools across South West London.
About the Role:
Full-time, long-term position - Monday to Friday, term-time only.
Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm
Supporting students both academically and emotionally in a small class setting (around 10 students)
Working closely with teachers and the wider school team to manage challenging behaviour positively
Acting as a positive role model, helping students develop confidence, resilience, and essential life skills
Strong leadership support and opportunities for career progressionWhat We're Looking For:
Patience, resilience, and the ability to build strong, trusting relationships
Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
A kind but firm approach to support students in their learning and personal development
Ability to motivate and engage students with SEND
Experience in a similar role is beneficial, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as importantThis is an incredibly rewarding role, offering the chance to genuinely change the lives of young people who need extra support. If you are passionate about helping students succeed and thrive, we would love to hear from you!
If you are from a Psychology, Youth Worker, Sports Coach, Life Coach or Mentoring background and you feel you have the right knowledge and training to make a difference we would love to hear from you.
The successful applicants will require an enhanced DBS check and references will be taken up.
