Location: Near Peterborough, Cambridgeshire
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Talentmark is recruiting for a QC Scientist to join a growing bioscience organisation operating within a GMP-regulated environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical scientist with experience in chromatographic techniques to play a key role in quality control testing, supporting the manufacture and processing of high-quality, plant-derived active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs).

Key Responsibilities:
Perform analytical testing of plant-derived molecules in accordance with approved SOPs.
Prepare working solutions, mobile phases, standards, and laboratory reagents.
Maintain accurate GMP-compliant documentation and ensure data integrity requirements are met.
Carry out routine maintenance, calibration, and verification of laboratory instrumentation, including GC-MS and HPLC-UV systems.
Manage laboratory stock levels and consumables to support uninterrupted testing activities.
Support internal audits and regulatory inspections where required.
Participate in data review activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate closely with QA, Production, and other cross-functional teams.Your Background:
Degree-qualified in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline, or possess equivalent laboratory experience.
Experience working within a regulated laboratory environment, ideally GMP.
Familiarity with analytical techniques such as HPLC and/or GC-MS.
Strong understanding of laboratory safety practices, including COSHH, risk assessments, and PPE requirements.What's on Offer?
