Laundry driver required for our public sector client
37 hours per week, Monday–Friday
Core hours:
Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 7:30am–4:00pm,
Wednesday 7:30am–3:30pm,
Friday 7:30am–1:00pm
Community-focused role supporting vulnerable residents who require assistance with their laundry due to mobility issues, illness, or other care needs.
You’ll play a vital part in ensuring service users receive a reliable, friendly and high-quality service. T
he Role As a Laundry Driver, you will be responsible for the delivery and collection of laundry from service users across Milton Keynes, helping maintain their independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
* Collecting and delivering laundry to and from service users’ homes across Milton Keynes
* Providing a courteous and professional service, building positive relationships with residents
* Maintaining accurate records relating to collections, deliveries and vehicle use
* Ensuring the vehicle is kept clean, safe and well-maintained, reporting any issues as required
* Liaising with contractors regarding vehicle maintenance where necessary
* Adhering to all health & safety, safeguarding and council procedures
* Acting as a positive representative at all times
A basic DBS check will be required for this role
