Our client is looking for a Community-Focused Laundry Driver who can support vulnerable residents with mobility issues who require assistance with their laundry. This is a temporary role on a 3-month contract in the first instance.
The Role :
As a Laundry Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting laundry from service users across Milton Keynes, helping to maintain their independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities :
Collecting and delivering laundry to and from service users’ homes across Milton Keynes
Providing a courteous and professional service, building positive relationships with residents
Maintaining accurate records relating to collections, deliveries and vehicle use
Ensuring the vehicle is kept clean, safe and well-maintained, reporting any issues as required
Liaising with contractors regarding vehicle maintenance where necessary
Adhering to all health & safety, safeguarding and council procedures
Acting as a positive representative of the client
Requirement:
Full clean driving licence
Basic DBS check
Previous experience of Laundry
Customer Service experience supporting vulnerable adults
Working Monday–Friday Core hours: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 7:30am–4:00pm, Wednesday 7:30am–3:30pm, Friday 7:30am–1:00pm 37 hours a week
