We are currently recruiting a HGV Trailer Technician on behalf of our client who provide transportation and logistics solutions and are looking for a skilled Mobile HGV Trailer Technician to cover the Willenhall area.
Location: Willenhall, West Midlands
Job Title: HGV Trailer Technician
Benefits of a HGV Trailer Technician:
Basic salary up to £46,000
Bonus earnings circa £54,000
£1,000 welcome bonus (paid on completion of 1 years’ service)

Company eventsDuties of a HGV Trailer Technician:
Carry out detailed inspections, servicing, and repairs on trailers to maintain safety and functionality
Complete compliance documentation accurately and efficiently
Diagnose and resolve faults using EBS systems including HALDEX, WABCO, and KNORR BREMSE
Undertake ongoing product and industry training, including IRTEC, tail lift, and BPW/SAF axle and brake training
Provide customer-focused service while meeting tight deadlines
Follow all health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
Demonstrate company values and behaviours
Note: duties may change as directed by supervision to reflect future requirementsRequirements of a HGV Trailer Technician:
Semi-trailer or heavy vehicle experience
Industry standard qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQs
HGV Class 1 driving licence
Car driving licence
IRTEC accreditation
EBS diagnostics experience (Knorr Bremse, Haldex, and WABCO)
Welding certification
Training or experience with axle manufacturers including BPW, SAF, or JOST
Tail lift training and experience
