Quality Auditor 18:00 - 06:00 3 - 2 -2 Panama Shifts - Methwold

This is a critical role within the Technical and Quality team, responsible for ensuring products are manufactured to the highest standards of food safety, quality, legality, and customer expectations.

As a Quality Auditor, you will provide technical support across production operations, carrying out audits, monitoring hygiene standards, investigating quality issues, and helping to maintain compliance with food safety legislation, BRC standards, and customer requirements.

You will have the authority to stop production if food safety, quality, or hygiene standards are compromised, making this an important position within our manufacturing operation.

Key Responsibilities

Quality, Food Safety & Hygiene

* Conduct regular audits of products, processes, equipment, and personnel to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.

* Identify non-conformances and work with operational teams to implement corrective actions.

* Monitor cleaning and hygiene effectiveness across production areas.

* Verify hygiene standards are met before production starts.

* Audit production records and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.

* Support investigations into quality concerns and foreign body contamination incidents.

* Promote and reinforce a strong food safety and quality culture throughout the site.

* Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safe working practices.

Technical Support

* Collect samples, measurements, and data to support technical and quality activities.

* Provide technical guidance and advice to production teams.

* Assist in maintaining compliance with customer specifications and regulatory requirements.

Teamwork & Communication

* Work closely with production, technical, and management teams.

* Communicate quality issues effectively across shifts and departments.

* Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

* Support and coach colleagues on quality systems, hygiene standards, and best practices.

Continuous Improvement

* Identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and compliance.

* Support initiatives that reduce waste, improve processes, and enhance customer satisfaction.

* Contribute to building a positive culture focused on quality and operational excellence.

About You

Essential Requirements

* Experience within a food manufacturing environment.

* Basic understanding of HACCP principles.

* Basic understanding of food safety requirements.

* Good level of written and spoken English.

* Computer literate with the ability to complete and review documentation accurately.

* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
