The Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Stock Condition Surveyor to play a key role in delivering high-quality asset data and ensuring housing stock meets all safety, compliance, and quality standards.
You will be responsible for undertaking detailed property surveys, identifying risks, and supporting long-term investment planning. This role is ideal for someone passionate about housing quality, compliance and improving resident outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with: Decent Homes Standard, Housing legislation, Fire Safety Regulations
* Conduct stock condition surveys to a high professional standard
* Undertake HHSRS assessments and identify potential hazards
* Carry out fire door inspections and support building safety compliance
* Identify and escalate risks including damp, mould, structural issues and health & safety concerns
* Maintain accurate records using asset management systems
* Contribute to asset investment planning and lifecycle management
* Support estate inspections and ensure follow-up actions are completed
* Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver a seamless service
* Promote energy efficiency and sustainability in future programmes

Strong knowledge of:
* Stock condition surveying or property inspections within housing
* Building construction and defects
* HHSRS and housing legislation
