About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join our busy and friendly Residential Property team in Coalville. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and is looking to become a valued member of a well-established law firm.
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to fee earners, helping to ensure the smooth progression of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
Providing secretarial support to Conveyancing Solicitors, Licensed Conveyancers, and Fee Earners.
Audio and copy typing of legal correspondence, documents, and reports.
Preparing and issuing client care documentation.
Managing incoming and outgoing post, emails, and telephone enquiries.
Opening and closing client files in accordance with firm procedures.
Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and third parties.
Arranging appointments and managing fee earners' diaries.
Preparing completion statements and assisting with post-completion administration.
Maintaining accurate records and updating the firm's case management system.
Ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulatory requirements at all times.
Skills and Experience Required
Previous experience as a Legal Secretary within Residential Conveyancing is essential.
Strong audio typing and document production skills.
Excellent communication and client care abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
