If you're a Graduate Engineering Geologist looking to build your experience across ground investigations, geotechnical reporting and infrastructure projects, this opportunity offers exactly that.

You'll join one of the UK's leading Civil, Structural and Geotechnical Engineering consultancies, working alongside experienced engineers and geologists on projects spanning rail, infrastructure, commercial developments and public sector schemes.

Develop technical skills in ground investigations, reporting and design
Exposure to multidisciplinary engineering teams
Structured professional development and mentoring
Clear career progression opportunities
Build the foundations for Chartered status and long-term career growth

The Role

As a Graduate Engineering Geologist, you'll support the delivery of geotechnical and ground engineering projects while developing your technical and professional expertise.

Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting with desk studies and interpretative reporting
Supporting ground investigations and site activities
Contributing to ground models and geotechnical assessments

Supporting Preliminary Risk Assessments
Maintaining site records and project documentation
Participating in site visits and client meetings
Working closely with civil, structural and geotechnical teams
Supporting project delivery across a variety of sectors
You'll gain exposure to the full project lifecycle, helping you develop a strong understanding of both technical delivery and consultancy project management.

About You

You may be a recent graduate or someone with a year or two of industry experience looking for the next step in your Engineering Geology career.

Your background may include:

A degree in Geology or a related discipline
Ground investigation experience
Geotechnical or geological reporting

Strong communication and organisational skills
A genuine interest in infrastructure and ground engineering projects
An MSc in Geotechnical Engineering or a related subject would be beneficial, but it's not essential. A full UK driving licence is required due to the site-based nature of the role.
