North London & Home Counties
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Passenger Lift Technician to join a growing and well-established lift engineering business.
This is a field-based role covering North London and the surrounding Home Counties, ideally suited to engineers located within the north London corridor between the M40 and M11, although candidates based in Essex will also be considered.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance, fault finding, repairs, and inspections on passenger lifts, ensuring equipment remains safe, compliant, and operating efficiently. Remote working is fully supported, and there is no requirement to attend an office on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance on passenger lifts
* Diagnose and rectify faults efficiently
* Undertake repairs and component replacements as required
* Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards
* Ensure lifts meet all relevant safety regulations, including LOLER and SAFed requirements
* Provide a high level of customer service while working independently in the field
Requirements
* Proven experience in passenger lift maintenance and fault finding
* Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering
* Strong maintenance and repair skills
* Excellent problem-solving abilities
* Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Comfortable working under pressure and managing your own workload
Training & Development
There is an excellent opportunity to expand your skill set through in-house training on Platform Lifts, with ongoing support and mentoring provided by highly experienced senior technicians.
