Plumber

We are currently recruiting for a Plumber to join a Local Authority Housing Repairs team covering South Shields and South Tyneside. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity working Monday to Friday with sociable hours, carrying out repairs and maintenance to both void and tenanted properties.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out plumbing repairs and maintenance to void and occupied properties
Undertake responsive repairs and planned maintenance works
Work on kitchens, bathrooms and wet rooms
Ensure work is completed to a high standard
Provide excellent service to tenants and residents
Cover properties throughout South Shields and South Tyneside

Requirements

NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing
Full UK Driving Licence
Experience working within void and tenanted properties
Previous experience carrying out responsive repairs and planned maintenance
Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively

Salary & Benefits

£18.18 per hour Ltd (PAYE equivalent £15.16 per hour)
Temp to Perm opportunity
37 hours per week
Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
Holiday allowance
Overtime available
Sociable working hours
