Role: Aerospace Engineering Project Manager

Location: Rochester, Kent 4+ days on-site per week

Salary: £85,000 - £90,000 + 12.5% bonus + £510/mo Car Allowance

Experienced Aerospace Engineering Project Manager needed in Rochester to work on cutting edge systems within the aerospace industry.

You'll play a key role in leading complex engineering projects from planning through delivery, providing technical direction to key decision‑making.

An aerospace engineering background & knowledge of current aerospace/avionic products and systems is essential.

What the role of the Aerospace Engineering Project Manager entails:

Some of the main duties of the Aerospace Engineering Project Manager will include:

Lead large & complex Engineering projects through the full lifecycle; define the execution strategy; ensuring compliant products and services delivered on time, and to budget
Give technical direction. Making key technical decisions and balancing trade-offs between various factors
Work collaboratively with both our global customers and supply chain, operating as cross-functional teams to deliver project objectives, requirements and deliverables
Drive continuous improvement through innovative Engineering practices, solutions and technologies
Act as the primary Engineering point of contact for project stakeholders
Guide, support and develop team members to foster a collaborative and high-performing environment

What experience you need to be the successful Aerospace Engineering Project Manager:

Avionics / Aerospace / Maritime Experience
Chartered Engineer Status (Highly Desirable)
Proven experience in delivering Engineering projects for electronic real time systems through the full development lifecycle
Degree qualified in Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
Effective leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
Experience working collaboratively with customers, suppliers and cross-functional teams
