Location: Edgware, North West London

Nurture Education is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools in Edgware.

The Role – Primary Teaching Assistant

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will:

* Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.

* Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning.

* Assist with classroom preparation and resource organisation.

* Promote positive behaviour and support pupil wellbeing.

* Help create an inclusive learning environment where all children can thrive.

* Support pupils with varying learning needs, including SEND where required.

* Encourage pupil participation, confidence and independence.

* Contribute positively to the wider school community.

Requirements – Primary Teaching Assistant

To be considered for this Primary Teaching Assistant role, you will need:

* Previous experience working as a Primary Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or within a school environment.

* A genuine passion for supporting children's education and development.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* A patient, caring and proactive approach.

* The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
