Electrician

We are currently recruiting for an Electrician to join a Local Authority Housing Repairs team covering South Shields and South Tyneside. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity working Monday to Friday, carrying out repairs and maintenance within void and tenanted properties.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out electrical repairs and maintenance to void and tenanted properties
Undertake responsive repair work across South Shields and South Tyneside
Perform fault finding activities
Complete testing and inspection duties
Carry out 1st and 2nd fix electrical installation work
Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations

Requirements

Craft Certificate in Electrical Installation Work
Time served recognised apprenticeship in Electrical work
18th Edition IEE Regulations in Electrical Installation
Level 3 2391 Testing, Inspection and Certification or equivalent
Experience of all 1st and 2nd fix electrical installation
Full UK Driving Licence

Salary & Benefits

£21.13 Ltd per hour (PAYE equivalent £18.13 per hour)
Temp to perm opportunity
37 hours per week
Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
