Location: Colindale, North London
Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 + Travel Allowance + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

The Opportunity
A leading UK residential developer is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team on a landmark high-rise residential development in Colindale, North London.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the commercial delivery of a large-scale, multi-phase scheme, working alongside an experienced project team to ensure successful financial and contractual management throughout the project lifecycle.
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving commercial performance, managing risk, and maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors and stakeholders on one of London's significant residential developments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the commercial management of a high-rise residential project from procurement through to final account.
Manage subcontract procurement, negotiation, and appointment.
Prepare and review tender documentation and subcontract packages.
Monitor project costs, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow.
Assess and agree subcontractor applications, variations, and final accounts.
Produce accurate monthly cost reports and commercial forecasts.
Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures.
Work closely with operational teams to maximise project profitability.
Support and mentor junior members of the commercial team where required.Candidate Requirements
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within the residential construction sector.
Strong experience delivering high-rise residential or large-scale mixed-use developments.
Excellent knowledge of JCT contracts and commercial management processes.
Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Commercially astute with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
Ability to manage multiple workstreams within a fast-paced project environment.Package
