Joiner

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Joiner to join a Local Authority Housing Repairs team covering Newcastle and North Tyneside. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity working Monday to Friday with sociable hours, carrying out repairs and maintenance to both void and tenanted properties.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out responsive repairs within domestic properties
Complete refurbishment works to void properties
Undertake kitchen and bathroom repairs and installations
Work within tenanted and unoccupied properties across Newcastle and North Tyneside
Ensure work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety requirements
Deliver excellent customer service when working within occupied homes

Requirements

NVQ Level 2 in Joinery
Previous experience carrying out domestic property repairs and maintenance
Experience working within housing or social housing environments
Full UK Driving Licence
Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively

Salary & Benefits

£18.16 Ltd per hour (PAYE Equivalent £15.58)
Temp to Perm opportunity
37 hours per week
Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Holiday allowance
Overtime available
Sociable working hours
