The Role
The Service Administrator plays a key role in ensuring our service operations run efficiently and customers receive outstanding support. You’ll be the link between customers, engineers, and internal teams, keeping schedules on track, parts where they need to be, and communication flowing.
The Service Administrator Key Responsibilities:
Scheduling service, maintenance, and repair work for field engineers
Acting as the main point of contact for service-related customer enquiries
Raising and processing job cards, purchase orders, and service documentation
Coordinating parts availability with the parts department and suppliers
Monitoring job progress and keeping customers updated
Maintaining accurate service records and system data
Supporting warranty claims and service reports
Assisting with invoicing and cost tracking for service jobsEssential for the Service Administrator:
Previous experience in a service coordination, scheduling, or similar administrative role
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal
Ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy environment
Good IT skills (Microsoft Office and service/CRM systems)Desirable (but not essential):
Experience in the plant, construction, automotive, or engineering industry
