Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a residential apartment project in Leeds. This is a 6-month contract role, ideal for a proactive and hands-on professional with a strong background in residential construction.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day site operations to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget
* Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff
* Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety regulations
* Monitor progress and maintain high standards of quality
* Conduct site inspections and resolve any issues promptly
* Liaise with project managers, clients, and stakeholders
* Maintain accurate site records and reports
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Site Manager on residential/apartment projects
* Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification
* CSCS card (Black or Gold preferred)
* First Aid at Work certification
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple trades and deadlines effectively
Desirable
* Experience working on multi-unit apartment developments
* Temporary Works Coordinator or Supervisor certification
