Vetro Recruitment is seeking a Primary School Teaching Assistant for a full-time role within an SRB in a Primary School in Cardiff. You will support pupils in creating a positive, inclusive learning environment, working closely with the Class Teacher to raise engagement and learning outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

* Provide general classroom support across the school day

* Work in partnership with the Class Teacher to plan and maintain an inclusive learning environment

* Support pupils with ALN and additional learning needs, ensuring appropriate classroom strategies are followed

* Manage and support pupils displaying challenging behaviour, using calm, consistent approaches

* Support effective learning routines, engagement, and positive relationships

Essential requirements:

* Experience supporting children with challenging behaviour

* Experience working with children with ALN, SEND, or related additional needs

* A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

* Ability to work effectively as part of a team, taking direction from the Class Teacher while offering proactive support

Working details:

* Location: Cardiff

* Role: Primary School Teaching Assistant (SRB)

* Working pattern: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm

* Pay: £92.59 per day minimum
