Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be supporting this Client, a successful and inclusive secondary school based in the London Borough of Newham, in their search for an enthusiastic and talented Geography Teacher to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis from September.

This Client is seeking a passionate Geography specialist who can inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the ability to contribute to Key Stage 5 being advantageous. The successful candidate will join a committed Humanities department dedicated to delivering engaging and challenging lessons that foster curiosity about the world and encourage academic success.

The Role

As a Geography Teacher, you will:

* Deliver high-quality Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Plan and deliver engaging learning experiences that inspire a love of Geography.
* Monitor and assess student progress effectively.
* Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners.
* Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development.
* Support students in achieving excellent academic outcomes.
* Promote high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
* Participate fully in the wider life of the school.

Qualifications Required

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* A degree in Geography or a closely related subject.
* Evidence of ongoing professional development.
* A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
