TeacherActive is proud to be working with a range of private day nurseries across Bridgend who are looking to expand their bank of Nursery Assistant staff. These settings provide safe, stimulating and engaging environments where children are encouraged to learn through play, develop confidence and reach key early years milestones.
The nurseries are looking to recruit dedicated Nursery Assistants on a part-time basis to support across different rooms and age groups. This flexible Nursery Assistant role is ideal for candidates seeking varied experience within Early Years settings while supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing through engaging activities and daily routines.
The successful Nursery Assistant will have:
• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education desirable
• Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
• A caring, patient and nurturing approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility and a positive 'can-do' attitude
