We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a well-established and growing specialist construction contractor with a strong pipeline of secured work across the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a financially stable business delivering a diverse range of projects across the education, leisure, commercial and public sectors. Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a key role in the commercial management of multiple projects from pre-construction through to final account.

The Role

* Commercial management of multiple projects across the UK

* Cost planning, forecasting and financial reporting

* Subcontractor procurement and account management

* Preparation and agreement of valuations, variations and final accounts

* Contract administration under NEC and JCT contracts

* Risk management and commercial reporting

* Supporting tender and pre-construction activities

* Liaising with clients, consultants and operational teams

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within the UK construction sector

* Strong understanding of NEC and JCT contracts

* Experience managing projects from tender through to final account

* Education, leisure, commercial or public sector project experience advantageous

* Degree, HNC or HND in Quantity Surveying or related discipline

* Strong communication and negotiation skills

* Full UK Driving Licence
