At Academics we are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Tutor to provide tailored 1:1 tuition to students in Canterbury who require additional support to reach their full potential.
This is more than just tutoring - it's an opportunity to build confidence, inspire learning, and help students overcome barriers to education.
What You'll Be Doing
Deliver engaging, personalised 1:1 lessons to students with a range of SEN needs.
Adapt teaching strategies to suit individual learning styles.
Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils and families.
Support academic progress while nurturing confidence and independence.
Monitor and report on student development and achievements.
What We're Looking For
Experience working with children or young people with SEN.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), tutoring experience, or a relevant educational background.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting learners.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
