⦁ Monday – Thursday: 14:30 – 00:15
⦁ Friday: 12:30 – 17:00
About the Role
We are currently supporting a leading Coventry-based precision engineering manufacturer in the recruitment of permanent CNC Miller Setter / Operators to join their backshift team.
These are stable, long-term positions within a busy manufacturing environment, working on high-quality precision components using modern CNC milling equipment.
Candidates will be responsible for setting and operating CNC milling machines, ensuring efficient production and maintaining high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
⦁ Set and operate CNC milling machines on backshift
⦁ Work from engineering drawings and tight tolerances
⦁ Carry out in-process inspection to ensure quality standards are met
⦁ Load, run, and make basic adjustments to programs where required
⦁ Ensure machines are running efficiently and safely
⦁ Support production output and quality targets
Essential Experience & Skills
⦁ Proven experience as a CNC Miller Setter and/or Operator
⦁ Strong working knowledge of Fanuc controls
⦁ Experience with Matsuura CNC machines
⦁ Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
⦁ High attention to detail and quality focus
What We’re Looking For
⦁ Experienced CNC machinists seeking a permanent role
⦁ Reliable and self-sufficient operators
⦁ Strong background in precision engineering environments
⦁ Ability to work effectively on a backshift pattern
