Description
Careys are recruiting experienced Crane Drivers to join our team on a major civil engineering project in Sheffield (S9).

You will support lifting operations associated with reinforced concrete structures, heavy civils and infrastructure works.
Key Responsibilities

Operate cranes safely and efficiently in accordance with lift plans, site procedures and manufacturer guidelines.

Carry out pre-use inspections and daily checks to ensure equipment remains safe and operational.

Work closely with Slinger Signallers and lifting teams to complete lifting operations safely and accurately.

Maintain exclusion zones and ensure all lifting activities comply with health and safety requirements.

Support the delivery of major civil engineering works by carrying out lifting operations to programme and specification.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

CPCS Crane Operator Card or NPORS Equivalent

Proven experience operating cranes on construction projects

Experience working to lift plans and site procedures

Strong commitment to health and safety

Ability to work effectively with lifting teams
Desirable:

Experience on major infrastructure projects

Reinforced concrete structures

Industrial civils projects

Safety Critical Medical

A62 Crane Supervisor
