This global fashion retailer are seeking a Deputy Manager for their new Bluewater store where you’ll support all aspects of the store opening, including recruitment, onboarding, and training of the team along with store set-up, visual merchandising and floor layout implementation, making the store look great and achieving the one goal - ensuring the best experience for colleagues and customers.
About the role
This is a new store opening and as Deputy Manager you’ll play a key role during the set-up phase and so you should be flexible to work extended hours where needed to deliver a successful opening, along with being responsible for creating a good atmosphere and motivating the team.
Responsibilities include:
Support and assist the Store Manager and working in partnership with the management team
Analyse sales performance daily and make strong commercial decisions to maximise result
Ensure smooth daily operations, leading the store confidently in the absence of the Store Manager
Being a role model to the team, driving great energy and atmosphere on the shop floor
Support the growth and development of your team to deliver on KPIs, product knowledge, service, visual merchandising, and operations
Assisting with recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing coaching for your store team
Champion company values and help create an inclusive, positive culture for colleagues and customers
