An established and growing occupational health and compliance consultancy is seeking an experienced Occupational Hygienist to join its expanding team in the East Midlands.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional looking to work across a diverse client portfolio, supporting organisations in managing workplace health risks and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practice.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct occupational hygiene assessments across a variety of sectors, including manufacturing, engineering, construction, logistics, and commercial environments.
Undertake workplace exposure monitoring for hazards such as dusts, fumes, vapours, noise, vibration, and hazardous substances.
Produce clear, accurate technical reports and provide practical recommendations to clients.
Support clients with COSHH assessments and exposure control strategies.
Deliver professional advice on workplace health risk management and regulatory compliance.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service delivery.
Assist in the development of occupational hygiene services and contribute to business growth initiatives.
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
Previous experience in occupational hygiene, environmental monitoring, or a related discipline.
BOHS qualifications (or working towards them) such as P401, P402, P403, P404, P405, P601, or equivalent.
Strong technical report-writing and communication skills.
A practical, client-focused approach to problem-solving.
A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the region.
Membership of a relevant professional body would be advantageous.
