The Rehability UK Community division is focussed on the West Midlands and the M25 corridor.

We support over 600 adults across a range of settings and employ around 1200 people across the country. These figures are not static, as the Group continues to develop and open new services.

Rehability UK is a leading Specialist Healthcare provider for Mental Health, Learning Disability, Autism, Brain Injury Rehab and Children's Services. Our services and the people who work in them exist to help the people we support to live their best possible lives. They are at the heart of all we do, whether we are working directly with them or working the support teams, such as HR, training and finance.

Healthcare isn’t and shouldn’t be a box-ticking exercise. We do the things we do because they add value, practicality, and happiness to the lives of the people we care for.

Main function of the job:

* Ownership of Management Accounts

* Support Finance Manager with Finance Function on a day-to-day basis

(Note: In addition to these functions employees are required to carry out such duties as may reasonably be required).

Main duties (not in any order of priority)

1. Monitor Bank Accounts and Cash Receipts

2. Assist with the preparation of accurate and timely Management Accounts.

3. Review all monthly P&L’s with Finance Manager

4. Attend Monthly Management Accounts Review Meetings with Ops

5. Take ownership of P&L’s for multiple regions

6. Bank reconciliations for 6 Ledgers.

7. Assist Finance Manager with annual budget preparation.

8. Support with Year End Preparation/Liaising with Auditors

9. Oversee AP & AR Function for completion of month end processes

10. Balance Sheet Reconciliation

11. Preparation of month end journals and oversee journal approvals

12. Managing the Accruals and Prepayment schedules

13. Payroll Adjustments & Accruals

14. Ad-Hoc Duties as Required

Systems Skills

1. AAT or similar qualification

2. Advanced Excel Skills including vlookups, pivot tables, etc.

3. Strong IT / systems skills

4. Experience of Xero Accounting Packages

People Skills

1. Commercially focused professional

2. Support an open, positive and inclusive working culture
