We are recruiting for an experienced Support Worker to join a dedicated team supporting an elderly gentleman with a traumatic brain injury in his own home.

This is a well-established package requiring 24/7 support, with 2:1 support during waking hours and 1:1 support overnight. The client has some behaviours that challenge and reduced mobility, requiring patient, person-centred support to promote safety, independence, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting with all aspects of personal care
Administration of medication
Meal preparation and nutritional support
Supporting with social activities and community access
Providing meaningful engagement and companionship
Attending appointments and outings
Supporting with mobility and transfers
Working collaboratively as part of a 2:1 support team
Following care plans and risk assessments to ensure safe, consistent supportAbout You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience supporting adults with complex needs, including brain injury
Experience providing personal care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A calm, patient, and proactive approach
The ability to work effectively within a team environment
Flexibility to work shifts on a rota basisWhy Apply?
