Work across stainless steel, aluminium and specialist alloys including Inconel and titanium

This Welder Fabricator role is with a rapidly expanding manufacturing business in Downton, producing high-quality fabricated and welded components for demanding engineering sectors. The Welder Fabricator will work on a varied mix of materials and components, with exposure to specialist alloys and precision welding standards. Day-to-day responsibilities of a Welder Fabricator
TIG weld thin-gauge materials up to 3.5mm
Fabricate and weld components to high-quality standards
Work with stainless steel, aluminium and specialist alloys
Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
Produce precision parts to exact customer and internal specifications
Maintain consistent quality and attention to detail across varied jobs
Work safely and keep standards high in a busy manufacturing environment
Continue developing welding and fabrication skills through structured training
What they’re looking for - Welder Fabricator
Experience as a Welder Fabricator, TIG Welder or similar
Confident TIG welding thin-gauge metals
Experience working with stainless steel and similar materials
Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
Quality-focused approach with strong attention to detail
Willingness to learn, progress and work to demanding standards
Desirable - Welder Fabricator
Experience with aluminium, Inconel, titanium or other specialist alloys
Background in precision fabrication or advanced engineering sectors
