Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our team at in Bury St Edmunds. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out routine cleaning duties across designated areas.
* Clean and sanitise floors, surfaces, furniture, and touchpoints.
* Empty waste bins and dispose of waste in accordance with site procedures.
* Replenish consumables such as soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue.
* Clean washrooms, staff areas, reception areas, and communal spaces.
* Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or stock shortages to management.
* Follow all health and safety regulations and infection control procedures.
* Ensure cleaning tasks are completed to the required standards and within allocated timeframes.
Requirements
* Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
* Good attention to detail and ability to work independently.
* Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
* Ability to follow cleaning schedules and site procedures.
* Good communication skills.
