Are you an experienced Supply Chain Manager with a background in food manufacturing, ready to step into a role that offers real ownership and the autonomy to make it your own?

Not every Supply Chain Manager role is about negotiating freight rates and managing suppliers.

Some are about taking control of a business that's ready for its next chapter.

We're working with a well-established food manufacturing business that has recently undergone significant change. The foundations are there, the products are strong, and the leadership team is investing heavily in improving operational performance.

Now they need someone to bring order, visibility and control to the heart of the operation.

This isn't a traditional supply chain role.

In fact, if your favourite part of supply chain is stock accuracy, inventory management, production planning and making sure the right product is in the right place at the right time, this could be exactly what you've been looking for.

The Opportunity

You'll take ownership of the planning and stock management function, ensuring the operation runs efficiently, inventory is controlled, and customer demand is met without creating unnecessary cost.

You'll be the person who sees problems before they happen.

The person who can look at stock levels, production schedules and demand forecasts and quickly identify what's going to derail performance—and fix it before it does.

You'll work closely with production, operations and senior leadership to improve processes, increase visibility and build a planning function that supports growth rather than constantly reacting to problems.

What You'll Be Doing

* Leading the production planning function across a busy manufacturing operation.

* Driving stock accuracy and inventory control.

* Managing inventory levels to balance service, availability and working capital.

* Improving planning processes, systems and reporting.

* Working cross-functionally with production, operations and commercial teams.

* Identifying bottlenecks, risks and opportunities to improve performance.

* Creating a culture of accountability around planning and stock management.

* Supporting the wider business through a period of positive change and improvement.

What We're Looking For

You'll probably already be working in a food manufacturing environment, although we're open to broader FMCG backgrounds.

What's more important is that you've built your career around planning, inventory and operational control.

You'll know how to:

* Manage complex stock profiles.

* Build and maintain effective production plans.

* Improve inventory accuracy.

* Influence stakeholders across manufacturing and operations.

* Use data to drive better decision-making.

* Remain calm when priorities change and pressure increases.

Most importantly, you'll enjoy making things better.

This role will suit someone who gets genuine satisfaction from bringing structure to chaos and creating processes that allow a manufacturing business to perform at its best.

Why Apply?

Because opportunities like this don't come around often.

You'll join a business where your contribution will be visible, valued and genuinely impactful.

You'll have the backing of an engaged leadership team, the opportunity to shape how the function operates and the chance to play a key role in a business that's moving forward.

If you're looking for a challenge where you can make a measurable difference, we'd love to speak with you
