Great opportunity to work as a Warehouse Picker (Despatch Operative) for our client's busy bakery site, producing quiches, sausage rolls, and party food.

Staffline is recruiting Warehouse Pickers in Nottingham.

The rate of pay is:
- Days £12.71 per hour
- Nights £12.86 per hour

Overtime is available and is paid at:
- Days £19.07 per hour
- Nights £19.29 per hour

This is a full-time role working fixed shifts and the hours of work are:

- Sunday to Tuesday - Days: 07:15am - 19:15pm
- Sunday to Tuesday - Nights: 19:15pm - 07:15am
- Wednesday to Saturday - Days: 07:15am - 19:15pm
- Wednesday to Friday - Nights: 19:15pm -07:15am

Flexibility is required to support peak periods and business demand.

Your Time at Work

As a Warehouse Picker you will be responsible for:

- Accurately pick customer orders using pick sheets or warehouse systems.
- Ensuring 100% accuracy of products, quantities, and batch codes prior to dispatch.
- Preparing goods for despatch, including labelling (SSCC), wrapping, and staging.
- Following FIFO/FEFO stock rotation principles and escalating any issues.
- Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and GMP standards.
- Using systems to confirm picking and despatch activity.
- Reporting discrepancies and working with line leaders to resolve them.
- Adhering to all Health & Safety and food safety standards.

The role is critical in maintaining high standards of accuracy, food safety, and operational efficiency within the warehouse.

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will have the following skills:

- Previous warehouse or picking experience (preferred)
- Food manufacturing/FMCG experience (desirable)
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
