BCS are looking for a Diagnostic Technician carry out general servicing and mechanical repairs on our customers vehicles.
Main duties:
Your key responsibilities as a Diagnostic Technician be:
* Carrying out service, diagnosis, and repair of vehicles to excellent standards.
* Communicating with the Service Reception team and Workshop Control.
* Liaising with customers to provide your expert, technical opinion.
* Maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work.
* Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge.
* Maintaining exceptionally high customer service levels that lead to customer loyalty and referrals.
Requirements:
* Experience ideally within a main dealership and have served a recognised apprenticeship with the appropriate qualifications (an NVQ in Motor Vehicle Technology or equivalent is essential.
* Experience of working with The Volkswagen Group brands would be desirable but is not mandatory (excellent training can be provided).
* The ability to be self-motivated to achieve targets.
* An interest in coaching apprentices and supporting service technicians.
* A positive attitude and to be a good team player
* You must have a full UK driving licence
