Role Overview
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support pupils in their learning, both individually and in small groups. You will help create a positive, engaging, and safe learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support teachers in delivering lessons and classroom activities
Work with individual pupils or small groups to reinforce learning
Assist with classroom preparation and organisation
Support pupils with additional learning needs where required
Help maintain positive behaviour and encourage pupil engagement
Supervise pupils during activities, break times, or school trips when needed
Requirements
A positive, patient, and caring attitude
Good communication and teamwork skills
Experience working with children is desirable (but not essential)
A willingness to support pupils of varying abilities
Relevant TA qualification or willingness to work towards one is an advantage
