Assistant Quantity Surveyor - South West London
A growing super prime residential contractor is looking to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their close-knit commercial team based in Wandsworth.

The business specialises in high-end bespoke residential projects across South West London, delivering exceptional quality homes with a strong focus on craftsmanship, detail, and client satisfaction. With a small, hands-on team structure, this is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their QS career to gain full project exposure and develop rapidly across all stages of the commercial lifecycle.

The Role
As Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial team across a range of luxury residential projects, gaining involvement from early procurement through to final account.
Key responsibilities will include:

Assisting with procurement of subcontractor packages and supplier enquiries
Supporting the preparation of valuations, variations and cost reports
Monitoring project costs and assisting with budget control
Helping manage subcontractor accounts and payment applications
Assisting with tender analysis and contract documentation
Attending site visits across South West London projects
Supporting the QS team with forecasting and financial reporting
Gaining exposure to full project life cycle commercial management The Company

What They Are Looking For

1-2 years' experience in Quantity Surveying (ideal but not essential)
Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management preferred
Experience within residential construction or main contracting desirable
Strong willingness to learn and develop across all QS duties
Good communication and organisational skills
Proactive, reliable, and comfortable in a small team environment
Interest in high-end residential construction Salary & Package

£35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
Travel allowance
Performance-related bonus
Exposure to full project life cycle experience
Small team environment with hands-on training and responsibility
