The Supply Register is pleased to be working with Sacred Heart Primary School in Rochdale to recruit a dedicated 1:1 SEND Support Assistant for a September start.
This morning-only role involves supporting a pupil with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping them to access learning and reach their full potential in a positive and inclusive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with SEND
• Assist with classroom activities and learning tasks
• Support the pupil's social and emotional development
• Work closely with teaching staff and the SENCO
• Promote a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
✔ Have experience working with children, ideally within a SEND setting
✔ Be patient, caring and adaptable
✔ Have strong communication and teamwork skills
✔ Be committed to supporting children's learning and development
