Are you an experienced Systems Engineer looking to work on complex, cutting-edge technology that delivers real-world impact?
We are seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to join a highly skilled, multidisciplinary engineering team responsible for the development and evolution of advanced systems. This is a unique opportunity to influence both current and next-generation products, helping to address emerging threats through innovative engineering solutions.
Working across the full engineering lifecycle, you'll play a key role in system design, integration, verification and acceptance, while providing technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams.
What You'll Be Doing
* Developing innovative solutions to complex technical challenges within advanced radar systems
* Applying Systems Engineering principles throughout the product development lifecycle
* Conducting system design analysis and managing technical trade-offs to optimise performance and capability
* Leading the decomposition and management of requirements using recognised engineering toolsets
* Acting as a technical focal point, providing leadership and guidance across engineering activities
* Collaborating with software, mechanical, electrical and specialist engineering teams to deliver integrated system solutions
* Leading system integration, verification and validation activities
* Defining acceptance strategies and demonstrating system performance against customer and operational requirements
* Supporting technical reviews and contributing to strategic engineering decisions
What We're Looking For
Essential
* Experience in Systems Design, Integration and Test
* Strong understanding of the engineering lifecycle from concept through to delivery
* Appreciation of multiple engineering disciplines, including software, electrical and mechanical engineering
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
* Experience presenting technical information to a variety of audiences
* Degree qualified (or equivalent) in an Engineering or Scientific discipline
