Van Driver – Immediate Start Available
We are recruiting an experienced Van Driver in Swadlincote for ongoing, full-time work with a well-established building supplies company.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Van Driver looking for stable work, consistent hours, and regular weekday shifts. As a Van Driver, you will complete 6–8 palletised deliveries per day to commercial customers, builders' merchants, and construction sites across the region.
This Van Driver role requires experience securing loads, making it ideal for a Van Driver with previous ratchet strapping experience who is confident transporting palletised goods safely and professionally.
Key Responsibilities – Van Driver
* Drive a company van on scheduled delivery routes
* Deliver palletised building supplies to customer sites
* Complete 6–8 deliveries per day
* Secure loads using ratchet straps and load restraint equipment
* Carry out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
* Complete delivery paperwork accurately
* Ensure deliveries are completed safely and on time
* Follow all road safety and transport regulations
Requirements – Van Driver
* Full UK driving licence
* Previous Van Driver experience preferred
* Ratchet strapping experience essential
* Experience delivering palletised goods beneficial
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
* Maximum of 6 penalty points preferred
